SNMBOA in a non-profit corporation. It has been filed and licensed with the State of New Mexico. Membership dues are $30.00 yearly. Renewals are due July 1st. When you join SNMBOA, you not only get membership in an organization working to promote the public good and comradery with building officials and other professionals in the construction trades, you also get a certificate stating your membership, a membership card (each year), and a premium gift with the stylish SNMBOA logo (TBD for this year). Join now. SNMBOA meets every other month, at locations in the southern part of the state, mostly in Ruidoso, because of its central location. Meetings are held in two sessions. The morning session, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, usually covers code questions and certified training where you can earn LUs or CEUs. The afternoon session, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm covers SNMBOA business. With registration fee of $15.00, lunch is usually provided. Members are mostly state and local construction inspectors, that cover all aspects, structural, electrical, plumbing. Many are contractors, architects, and engineers that are interested in building code application and upgrades. Architects can receive HSW/CEU credits!
